The Edinburgh Fringe Show 2026 – Lubna Kerr and Ihsan Kerr – A Better Memory

We’re carrying on with our previews ahead of August and Edinburgh falling once more for the charms of the Fringe. With over 3,500 shows in the month, we’ll never get all of them into the show, but we’ll bring you a flavour of the Fringe, as we’ve done for the last twenty years

Just as the podcast comes back every year, so do many of the artists. Lubna Kerr returns to the Fringe (and the podcast) in “A Better Memory”, an exploration of AI replicas, false memories, and questioning the truth. Lubna is joined on stage by Kathryn Marper and Codge Crawford, and the show is written by Ihsan Kerr.

Ihsan and Lubna join me on the podcast to talk about the show, their familial and creative relationship, and their critique of cutting-edge AI technology through art.
