The Edinburgh Fringe Show 2026 Prologue – Welcome To Season Twenty Two
Podcast: Play in new window | Download
Welcome to Edinburgh, and the build-up to the Edinburgh Fringe is underway. August, with its month of shows across the Capital, is on the horizon, which means a month of podcasts to talk about them.
We start, as always, with a short prologue—a chance to ensure the website, podcast feed, and all the other digital components are ready to go. We’ll have weekly preview interviews through July to help set the scene, before a rush of recordings in August. Before all that, there’s time for our traditional opening song from Daniel Cainer, “What’s It Like To Be In Edinburgh.” Daniel is also returning to the Fringe, with his lunchtime show “What Am I, Chopped Liver?” in his traditional lunchtime spot of 11.50.
All right, Edinburgh, let’s do this one more time!
